Chateau Favori is located in a small village 200 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Coteaux Varois region in Provence. Thanks to its favorable location (hence the nickname of the place 'Favori'), the vineyards enjoy clay-limestone soils that favor the vine's roots to deeply absorb the necessary minerals and the presence of aquifers that naturally nourish the vineyard. The cool nights balance the warm sunny days, favoring optimal climatic conditions for grape ripening. Since 2017, the company has made a decisive shift towards organic farming with the help of consultants Claude and Lydia Bourguignon. Favori Mediterranée is a vibrant blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Merlot. This wonderful rosé from Provence displays a typical pale pink color, fresh aromas of white fruits, and some floral notes. The freshness returns to the palate with a light salty note. On the palate, the wine is fruity and refreshing with a long and delicate finish of white flowers. It pairs very well with cold cuts and fresh cheeses, seafood, and of course, Tarte Tatin with tomato. It is definitely the perfect wine for a warm summer evening!
